PMP/CAPM Certification Exam Prep
Increase your marketability and earning potential by becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM). The PMP certification is recognized as the gold standard by the Project Management Institute. It signifies that you speak and understand the global language of project management. Though not a prerequisite for the PMP, becoming a CAPM is an excellent way for novice project managers to improve their professional standing and take on more leadership responsibilities while continuing their training through job experience and PM education.
The course is structured in a mastermind group format. Course instruction follows the framework found in A Guide to the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), Sixth Edition. Discussions incorporate real-world scenarios, case studies, and industry best practices to help provide context and understanding of the Knowledge Areas and process groups.
Exercises and reading assignments are assigned at the end of each meeting to reinforce learning and encourage retention of the project management framework in the PMBOK.
Starting January 2, 2021, the PMP exam content is changing. Read this post for more details.
